-> Pooler - Juanita Dowd Sykes Wilson, 78, was called to Heaven November 2, 2003 at Effingham Hospital. She was born December 10, 1924 in Collins, GA. to Nalder L. Dowd and Ollie Mae Miness Dowd. Juanita was a long time resident of Georgia. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by her family and all her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Wilson. Survivors: daughter, Judy Wiedmann; three grandchildren, Heather Wiedmann, John Wiedmann and Amanda Wiedmann; sister, Dollie Mae Moore; three brothers, Thermond Dowd Sr., L.D. Dowd and Edward Dowd; six step-children, Bonnie, Barbara, Linda, Cathy, Ray and Bob and 12 step-grandchildren as well as many other relatives. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Massey-Framke Funeral Care. Memorial Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Massey-Framke Chapel. There will be a private Inurnment at a later date by the family.
