Mrs. Juanita Anne Mahon Ayers, 77, of 3505 E. North St., widow of Terrell P. Ayers, Sr., died Saturday, March 1, 2003. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Marcus Dee and Martha Nita Owen Mahon. She was retired from the Greenville County Library and was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Black, and her husband, Larry, of Asheboro, N.C.; two sons, Mr. Terrell "Sonny" Ayers Jr. and his wife, Debi, and Mr. Edward Dee Ayers and his wife, Amy, all of Greenville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jimmie Skinner of Greenville; and five nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Wade Hampton-Taylors Library Fund, 3326 Wade Hampton Blvd., Taylors, SC 29687. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Service: noon Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Section K. The family will be at the home of her son, Ed, 506 E. Silverleaf, Greer.
