Family-Placed ObituaryJAMES D. MCDANIEL, Jr. 55, of Palm Springs passed away Monday, November 3 peacefully at his home. Born in Gadsden, Alabama, Jimmy grew up in Palm Springs where he attended Palm Beach County Public Schools. Jimmy was a member of the first graduating class of J. I. Leonard High School in 1971. Survivors include his parents, James Sr. and Charlotte A. McDaniel; two brothers, Kevin (Charlotte M.) and Keith (Tammy); three nieces, Jennifer, Madison and Olivia; two nephews, Ryan and Coleman, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Jimmy expressed a passion for the classic rock music of Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter and Carlos Santana, comedy, vintage movies, dogs, his pet parrot Paco, and would never turn down an opportunity to go bass or snook fishing. He also had a natural gift in the art of free-hand drawing, where he created many memorable images with his pencil and paper. Jimmy was liked by everyone who met him, as he was a very caring, compassionate and loving soul. And for those traits, he will be missed by manyÉÉÉ. May he rest in peace. Edgley Cremation Services will be in charge of the cremation. There will be a private memorial honoring Jimmy at his home with family and close friends.
