Joyce Winifred Roberts, 82, Englewood, died April 15, 2006, at Englewood Community Hospital. She was born April 8, 1924, in Flint, Mich., and came to the Charlotte County area 25 years ago from there. A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Raymond A.; daughters Pamela Brantley and Patricia Birchmeier, both of Montrose, Mich.; sons Michael of Monroe, Mich., Timothy of Davison, Mich., and Mark of Clio, Mich.; sisters Rachael Schneck of Hubbard Lake, Mich., Sherrill Collins of Sheboygan, Wis., Karen Duff of Standish, Mich., and Andrea Simms of Flint, Mich.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial will be later in Michigan. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge.
