Joyce "Gail" Thompson, 63, of Greenville, died December 3, 2009. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of W. Frank and Clara M. Alexander and the late Leila Imogene Alexander. Joyce was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to her father and stepmother, she is survived by her son, Andy Thompson of New Jersey; stepsisters, Tammy Hobieka (Mike) and C. Beth Pitts, all of Myrtle Beach; and a stepbrother, Joe F. Pitts of Greenville. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2009, in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with burial following at Graceland Cemetery, West. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. The family will be at 103 Knollview Drive, Greenville.
