STRINGER, Joyce Ruby (nee Wilson) - After a short but brave battle with cancer, on June 14, 2008, at Brampton Civic Hospital; at age 77. She is loved and missed by husband Lloyd, children Lynda (Brian) Baxter, Ken (Karen), Glenn (Wendy), and Karen (Walter) Bordne; and grandchildren Kerry (Jeff) Linton, Kristy Baxter, Katelynn Stringer, Lynsey and Bradley Bordne. Predeceased by sister Eunice (Jim) Mercer. Sister-in-law to Lois (Don) Mackie, Noreen (late Ross) Kane, and Robert (late Gayle) Stringer. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Scott's Funeral Home, 289 Main Street North, Brampton, on June 17th, 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Memorial service and reception at Caledon Hills Fellowship Baptist Church, 16591 Airport Road in Caledon East, Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00 AM. Interment follows at Brampton Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. Thank you to the doctors and staff in Palliative Care at the hospital, the staff at Tall Pines LTC who have cared for Joyce since her stroke in 2004, and others who so faithfully ministered to her week by week.
