Joyce Landing Davis - ELLABELL - Joyce Landing Davis, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at her residence after and extended illness. Mrs. Davis was an employee of Bryan County for over 18 years where she worked in the tax assessor's office for 12 years and served as deputy clerk of real estate for the last 6 years. She loved taking care of her cats, riding motorcycles, listening to gospel music, traveling, and being with her family. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for over 20 years. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents Ashton and Ida Landing, and one brother David Landing. Survivors include her husband of 34 years Renard Carter Davis of Ellabell, one son, Renard Adam Davis, of Wilmington Island, a sister-in-law Edna Landing of Chatham County, and a nephew Michael Landing of Chatham County. Visitation will be held from 6 Ð 9 P.M. Thursday February 21, 2008. Funeral will be held on Friday February 22nd, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Bryant and Elder Sam Davis Officiating. Mrs. Davis will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.
