Jackson, Joyce J. WARRENSBURG Joyce Jean Robillard-Jackson, 80, of Warrensburg and formerly of Queensbury, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Glens Falls Hospital after a short illness, in the company of her grandchildren. Born, January 25, 1929 in Queens-bury, she was the daughter of Florence Stevens-Robillard and Francis Robillard. On August 4, 1946 in Glens Falls, Joyce married the love of her life, Frederick Donald Jackson. They lived in Queens-bury for 34 years until moving to Warrensburg in 1989 where they lived and loved until Don's death in April of 1991. Joyce was employed for 46 years with J & J Lingerie Company in Glens Falls, before retiring in 1991. Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Clifford and Kenneth Robilliard; by her only child, Constance L. Monroe of Warrensburg; and her great-granddaughter, Morgan Monroe. Her granddaughter, Kelly Vincent of Clifton Park and her husband Michael survive her; as well as her grandson, Kevin Monroe of Fort Ann; and two great-grandchildren, also of Fort Ann; son-in-law, Eugene Monroe of Warrensburg; a sister, Lillian McDonnell of South Glens Falls; and two nieces, Reverend Patti Girard of Hartford, N.Y. and Judy Rosebrook of South Glens Falls. There will be a graveside service for friends and family held at Mount Hermon Cemetery located at the base of West Mountain in Queensbury, Sunday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. A reception to celebrate Joyce's life will follow at her home.
