Graveside service for Joyce Harvel Foster, 68, of Hartselle will be today, April 18, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Forest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Kathrine Perkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Foster died Friday, April 16, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1936, in Lawrence County to James Vernon Smith and Cora Ferguson Smith.Survivors include two daughters, Paula Kay Atchley and Peggy Lynn Higginbotham, both of Hartselle; one brother, James D. Smith of Alaska; two sisters, Billie Vest and Doris Shepard, both of Hartselle; one granddaughter, Tanya Atchley; one step grandson, Kevin Atchley; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Atchley, Lane Atchley and Corey Austin.
