KENNEY Joyce H., of Lexington, widow of the late Edward "Mack" Kenney, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Versailles. She was born on March 17, 1932 to the late Fred and Marie Hamrick in Ashland, KY. A life-long Episcopalian, she attended St. Andrews Anglican Church of Versailles in later years. She is remembered by her family as a loving wife and mother. She taught English at Ashland and Russell High Schools in Ashland, KY, and retired in 1980. She was also active in the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O) in Lexington. Joy was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years in 2000. She is survived by her children, Stuart C. (Mindy) Kenney of Atlanta, GA and Paige K. (Dr. Eric) Quillen of Versailles; grandchildren: Sara Kenney, Stephanie (Brad) Schulte, Shelby Kenney, Tony Kahn, and Stuart Quillen; and niece Heather Hume of Cincinnati, OH. Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 4th from 4-7pm at Milward-Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 10am at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Versailles.
