WATERVILLE -- Joyce Edith Bailey, 77, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Inland Hospital in Waterville.She was born in Newport, R.I., on March 28, 1928, the daughter of Ray and Geneive (Searle) Lesure. Joyce was a longtime resident of Waterville and spent most of her life as a homemaker.Surviving are six sons; Phillip Conlogue of Farmington, Scott Conlogue of Fayette, Chris Conlogue of Chesterville, Donald Bailey III of Skowhegan, Shenandoah Bailey Sr. of Waterville and George Bailey Sr. of Oakland; three daughters, Violet Conlogue of Auburn, Branda Robinson of Benton and Beverly Bailey of Waterville; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.A graveside memorial service will occur at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Lewis Cemetery, Cottle Road, Oakland. Arrangements are by Wheeler Funeral Home of Oakland.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of George Bailey, 6 Goodwin St., Oakland ME 04963.
