Joyce E. Williams, age 77, Lake Panasoffkee, died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at her residence. Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 11, 1934, to the late Leonard and Sherife (Irvine) Williams. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading and craftwork. She liked to play cards and bingo and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald Williams, Lake Panasoffkee; two daughters, Laura (David) Robbins, Flint, MI, and Pam (Dave) Duncan, Temperance, MI; her sister, Maxine (Bob) Woods, OR; six grandchildren, Nicole, David, Denise, John, Kim and Marc; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Williams Jr.; brothers Leonard and Jerry Vincent, and her sister, Barbara Vincent. The family will receive friends in visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. Burial will be at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family requests donations to Cornerstone Hospice, 2452 C.R. 526 E., Sumterville, FL 33585 in lieu of flowers.
