Joyce E. Hughes, 79, of Kissimmee, Fla., passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at her summer home in Orleans, Mass. Visitation is on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, N.J. (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment is at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton, N.J. Joyce was born in Newark, N.J., and previously resided in East Greenwich, R.I. She was a past member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church, Mountain Lakes, N.J., where she was the choir director in the 1960s. Joyce was a music teacher in Rockaway Township and retired in 1992. She was a graduate of Boonton High School and Montclair State College. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Linda Hughes, of Sun Prairie, Wis., and two grandchildren, Hoshaiah Barczynski and Marisa Digati. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Allen, in 1985 and her son, Izaak William Thomas Hughes, in 1995. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Helping Our Women (HOW), P.O.
