Joyce Landing Davis, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was an employee of Bryan County for over 18 years where she worked in the Tax Assessor's office for 12 years and served as deputy clerk of real estate for the last six years.  She loved taking care of her cats, riding motorcycles, listening to gospel music, traveling, and being with her family. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for over 20 years. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents Ashton and Ida Landing, and one brother David Landing.  Survivors include her husband of 34 years Renard Carter Davis of Ellabell; one son, Renard Adam Davis, of Wilmington Island; a sister-in-law, Edna Landing of Chatham County; and a nephew Michael Landing of Chatham County.  The funeral was held on Friday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Bryant and Elder Sam Davis Officiating.  Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
