DAVIS Joyce B. Davis, age 67, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Sunday, July 3, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Norwalk, she was a resident of Bridgeport for 44 years. She was employed with Bank of America as a Bank Teller. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Alphonso "Sam" Davis, of Bridgeport; two sons, Arthur Davis of Bristol; Anthony Davis of Bridgeport; one daughter, Angela Davis Kearse of Bridgeport; three brothers, William Boyd of Bridgeport, George Boyd of Norwalk; Peter Boyd of Maryland; two sisters, Ruth Shular and Mary Boyd of Norwalk; 19 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11a.m. at Morton's Mortuary Chapel, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, with Minister Joseph Kirkland, Jr., officiating.
