JOYCE ANN REED MORRIS, 84Secretary HAINES CITY - Joyce Morris, 84, died at home in Haines City on Friday, August 21, 2009, of congestive heart failure. She was aided in her transition by the dear souls of Good Shepherd Hospice. Born on January 15, 1925, Joyce was a life-long resident of Haines City, Florida. Her parents, Clifford and Dora Reed, predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Linton Elkins and Orville Morris. She is survived by her children, Jo Lynn Fenety and Reed Morris, both of Haines City, stepchildren Orlen Morris, W.B. Morris, Marietta Gray and Judy Watson; by two granddaughters, Sara Shannon and husband, Steve, of Austin, TX, and Annette Hamilton of Kirkland, WA, and two great-grandchildren, Bill Shannon and Lili Nyste. The family will receive friends at home for a celebration of life on Sunday, August 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Girl Scouts of West Central Florida or to Good Shepherd Hospice.
