AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, August 16, 2013, Mrs. Joy Swearingen Campbell wife of the late Mr. Thomas L. Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was a native and life long resident of Augusta, GA. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church. Family members include daughters: Lynn Brantley of Evans (Rey Chacon), Dr. Kathryn Hilliker (Scott) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Tracy Dozier (Brian) of Blythe; grandchildren: Christopher Hilliker, Amy Woodward and Joshua Hilliker all of Tuscaloosa, AL, Thomas Brantley and Wendy Brantley both of Martinez, GA; nine great grandchildren; sisters: Gloria Bagby and Mary Cosnahan (J.T.); and brother: John Swearingen. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. John A. Swearingen and brother: Joel Swearingen. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scott Hilliker officiating.
