SMITH Joshua “Josh” N. Smith, 19, passed away on September 24, 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. He was born February 22, 1988 in Jacksonville, Florida. Josh graduated from Terry Parker High School in 2006. He was an accomplished water skier at the age of 5, and growing up he was an avid baseball player. Josh played ball at the Lake Lucina Youth Association where he was an All-Star pitcher having the nickname “Bullet.” He was employed by Wiginton Fire Systems. Josh was a hardworking, loving, son, brother, and grandson, who always was giving and helping to all who needed him. He is survived by his parents, David and Tammy Smith; his girlfriend, Heather Gary; maternal grandparents, Hugh and Judy Boston and Robert and Sharon Womack; sister, Jennifer Hunt (Justin); brothers, Jacob and Jesse Smith; niece, Alanna Hunt; aunts, Crystal Summerfield (Joel), Kathy Vaughn (John), Elizabeth Schwartz (Tom), Becky Smith, and Robin Smith; uncles, Robert Womack (Lisa), Jack Smith, and Carl Smith (Wanda), as well as his very special cousin, Ashley Zakutansky, and numerous other loving cousins and wonderful friends. Josh's gentle way and glowing smile will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, at Corey - Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev.
