She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Gingerich and Sylvia Rodkey; brother, Lewis Gingerich. She is survived by her loving family, husband of 29 years, Thomas Lewis Sr.; children, Donald Dodson Jr., Khristopher Dodson, Jason Dodson, Rosarie (Lewis) Wade, Thomas Lewis Jr.; grandchildren, David, Natalie and Gracie; siblings, Sylvia, Mary Louise, Nancy and Rose. She was an enthusiastic re-modeler when her husband was away and her favorite color was "Colonial Gray" (Barney Purple). She was a childcare provider who greatly influenced many children for decades. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Calvary Baptist Church, 466 Chenango Street, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, on Friday from 4-7 pm. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
