Joseph W. Jordan, 74, of Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Legacy Affectionately known as "Joe Cool", Joe was a quiet and gentle man. He was known for his easy going and patient nature. He took pride in caring for his home, yard and garden and loved to spend time fishing. Joe loved decorating his home for the holidays and spending time with his family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joe was a resident of Deptford for 50 years. Prior to retiring, Joe worked at GE, M-80 Department in Camden, NJ. He enjoyed playing banjo as a Mummer in the Hegeman String Band for 13 years. Family Beloved husband of 50 years to Helen (nee Smith); devoted father of Jo Ann (George) Hanson and Barbara Jordan; loving grandfather of Brianna and Nicole. Joe is predeceased by his sister, Edna Munz and niece, Barbara Lee Munz. Farewell Relatives and Friends are invited on Sunday, after 1:00 PM at the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME 34 Hunter St. Woodbury, NJ, where a Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM.
