GardinerPalm Bay, FLJoseph Gardiner, 91, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 from complications from cancer with his family present.He was born August 14, 1923 in Bronx, NY to the late Joseph J. and Emma (Holton) Gardiner.He served in the Merchant Marines from 1942 to 1945. He joined the Plumbers Union #2 in New York after serving in the Merchant Marines and retired from Plumbers Local Union #775 in 1985. He moved to Palm Bay in 1988.He married Violet T. Gallagher on November 25, 1946. They produced six children that led to 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Viewing will be tomorrow from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay.
