December 7, 2008 Joseph E. Jordan, 77, of Cicero, NY, passed away December 7, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by loving family. Born in Amsterdam, NY, he attended Syracuse University and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Joe retired from P&C Foods after more than 41 years in various management positions. He was a man of integrity who loved his family and enjoyed his home. Surviving are his partner of 42 years, Richard Fix; brothers, Robert (Alice), Jim (Janice), Paul (Val) and Harry (Patricia); sisters, Jacquelyn (Michael) Lisicki and Patricia (Hank) Scharff; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Sears-Mid-dleton-Jones Funeral Home in North Syracuse. A prayer service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church.
