JONES Johnnie Mae (Stroy) Jones of 1629 Liberty Street #1, passed on March 22, 2003. Johnnie was born January 3, 1942 in Cuphbert, GA to the parents Mamie and Rufus Stroy. She was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Anthony L. Willis, Sr., Pastor. She served on District #5, Deacon Richard Stroy District Leader. She was a graduate of New Stanton High School class of 1959. She retired many years ago from St. Lukes Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Nina Brown; 3 grandchildren, Satin, Carlos Jr., and Tameko Shiloh; 3 sisters, Bernice Belle, Thirles (Rupert) Taylor and Willie Mae (Stan) Markey; 2 brothers, Keith Stroy and Larry (Bernadette) Bryant; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. Memorial services will be held at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 918 Iona Street on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 11 AM. The Cortege will assemble at 1918 N. Liberty Street.
