Johnie R. Davis, 70, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Fla.He was the son of the late James Obie Davis and Linnie Bee Davis. Born in Rogersville, Ala., he moved to Florida in 1984 from Fort Wayne, Ind. He was a U.S. Army veteran.Survivors include two brothers, Morris Davis, of Rome City, Ind., and Jerry Davis, of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Louise Evans, of Oneonta, Ala.Burial, will full military honors, will be in Florida National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, Fla., is directing.
