John C. Williams, 77, of 522 Creighton Drive, Taylors, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, following a stroke.Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Williams. He was a veteran and was a retired employee of Crosrol Inc. He enjoyed bowling, golf and reading.He is survived by his wife, Carol C. Williams; a brother, James A. Williams; a daughter, Julie W. Bridges, and her husband, David; three sons, S. Michael Williams, John R. Williams and Susan Townsend, and Peter J. Williams and his wife, Beth; and two grandchildren, Matthew T. Williams and Justin L.
