Retired Businessman THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. John Will 'Johnny' Montgomery, 78, beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothy H. Montgomery, of Stonewall Drive, died Friday, July 2, 2004, in the V.A. Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2004, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Garvin and Tom Lord officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Montgomery was a native of McDuffie County. He was a retired businessman, an Army veteran and the past Post Commander of American Legion Post No. 68. He was also a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his children, Nelson, Nancy, and Donald Montgomery. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Montgomery, Thomson and his brother, Mr. Curtis Montgomery, Jr., Richmond, Va. Pallbearers will be Dave Hunter, Luke Martin, David Hobbs and Andy Hobbs. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive frie nds from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday night at the funeral home.
