CAMPBELLSBURG ADAMS, JOHN WAYNE, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 in Louisville. He retired after 35 years as a pipefitter and was a member of Local Pipefitters Union 522. Son of the late William E. and Inez (Hancock) Adams, he was preceded in death by his brother, William E. Adams, Jr. Survived by his wife, Geneva "Jenny" L. Adams of Campbellsburg; two daughters, Mrs. John (Dawn) Suter of Campbellsburg and Mrs. Brent (Angie) Donner of LaGrange; four sisters, Margie Hale of Atlanta, GA, Betty Dollar of Columbus, GA, Mrs. Hubert (Marion) Louden, Sr. of Louisville, and Mrs. Ray (Dorothy) Highfill, Sr. of Campbellsburg; a brother, James Adams of Louisville; four grandchildren; a loving canine companion, Alli; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Danny Meredith of Elizabethtown. Burial: Sulphur Cemetery. Visitation: after 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Contributions may be given to Kosair Children's Hospital.
