MILLER, John Walker - Passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Thursday August 23, 2007. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Joan, son Brian (Ginny) daughter Nancy (Peter) and son Daniel (Janice). John was pre- deceased by Kathleen (nee: Fisher) in 1969. Grandpa Miller will be sadly missed by Christopher, Kate (Matt), Mary, Carly, Jordan and Jaclyn. Dear brother of Kay Reid and Harriet Wansbroygh (1995) and sister-in-law Faith Sheridan. John voluntarily served his country during World War II and was a Deacon for many years in the Baptist Church. Friends will be received by the family at the STECKLEY GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie on Sunday August 26, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. followed by a reception.
