HARRINGTON - John V., 84, of Wallington died February 10, 2002. Dear son of the late Maurice and Bridget Harrington of New Bedford, MA. John is survived by his wife of fifty nine years, Louise (nee Norris), and by his sons Jack of Rutherford, James of Upper Montclair, Dennis of Belfast, Maine and Paul of Akron, Ohio. Also survived by his grandchildren Maura and Eilish Harrington of Upper Montclair, Luke Harrington of DeKalb, Illinois, Amber Harrington of Philadelphia, PA and Nora, Bryna and Anne Harrington of Belfast, Maine. John was a member of the Holy Name Society and in the Bergen County Federation of the Holy Name Society, he was the original editor of "Inspiration". He was Grand Marshal of the Holy Name Parade in 1963. John participated in the Senior Citizen Olympics in Missouri in 1989. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 9:30 AM and from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 10 AM. Interment St. Michaels Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visitation, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
