McQueen, John T. LOUDONVILLE John T. McQueen, 65, died peacefully Monday, August 20, 2007 at his home with his beloved family present. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late John and Helen Schilling McQueen. John was one of New York City's Bravest, retiring as a lieutenant after 24 years on the FDNY. John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club. He was the beloved husband of Eileen Flaherty McQueen; dear father of Keri H. McQueen of New Orleans, La. and Lauren S. McQueen of Tampa, Fla.; brother of Ellen Ragone of Brooklyn; brother-in-law of James and Patricia Flaherty, and Michael and Maureen Kinley; dear uncle of Tricia, Vincent, and Brian Ragone, James and Elizabeth Kinley; many friends survive John. Funeral services Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville at 11:00 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery.
