John Richard "Rick" Henderson CHARLOTTE - Memorial service for Mr. John Richard "Rick" Henderson, of Charlotte, NC, will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Holland Avenue Baptist Church, 801 Twelfth Street, Cayce, SC 29033. The family will receive friends before the service at the church, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Henderson passed away peacefully December 11, 2014, in the presence of family. Rick was a native of Columbia, SC, where he graduated from Capital Barber College in 1968. He served as a barber for over 30 years in Columbia and Charlotte. Mr. Henderson is survived by one son, Ashley Henderson and wife Christy of West Columbia, SC, his stepfather, Herbert Rayburn and wife Pat, of North Carolina, brothers, Rexford Hamlet Henderson of North Carolina, and Eugene Crim of Charleston, SC, and one sister, Tina Sipos (John) of Cayce. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamlet Henderson of Burlington, NC, and Maggie Madell Rayburn of Charlotte, NC, and one brother, Author Hamlet Henderson.
