FLEMING, John Richard (Dick) 77 years, peacefully on November 1, 1999 with his loving family by his side. Late of Windsor. Beloved husband and best friend of 53 years of Simonne (nee Boileau). Loving father of Evelyn and husband Keith Kornacki; Jeannette and husband Donald Chabot; John and wife Debbie Clavelle of Vancouver; Michelle and husband Gerry Geiger. Son of the late Vernon MacKellar and Evelyn Cameron and Andrew Fleming. Dear papa of Chris and Ashley; Matthew and Michael; and Katie. Dick will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dick was a former Director of the R.C. Children's Aid Society, a Trustee with the Sandwich East and Windsor Separate School Boards, a member of the Dean Wagner Assembly - Fourth Degree, The Bishop J.T. Kidd Council, Knights of Columbus #4924, Order of The Alhambra Guzera Caravan #72 and has served in the R.C.A.F. in W.W. II. Visiting Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 2-5pm and 7-9pm. K of C Prayers Thursday at 7:30 pm. Parish Prayers Thursday at 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Frday November 5, at 9:45 am from the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to the St. Theresa Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Fr. Richard Cartier will be the celebrant. A cremation will follow. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dick Fleming in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held October 1, 2000. All are welcome.(The Windsor Star)
