->Casey, John PatrickJohn Patrick Casey, died yesterday at Greenwich (CT) Hospital, at the age of 66, surrounded by family and friends. He was born June 5, 1945 in New York City and was raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. John was the quintessential fun-loving Irishman, known for his upbeat gregarious personality. He was beloved by his countless friends from all walks of life. John was the former CFO of the B. Altman and Co. and current CFO of the Altman Foundation. John was a long-time devoted member of the Union League Club, serving as President for three years. He also was an enthusiastic, dedicated Commissioner of the Rye Little League. He was a popular member of the Westchester Country Club where he excelled on the golf course with his unorthodox but effective swing. He also was a proud member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, the Rye Fish and Game Club, the ULC Trap and Skeet Team, and a revered member of the legendary "PotatoeHeads". John and his brother, Roger, were Irish step-dancing champions in their youth. He was a former board member of St. Agnes Hospital and LaSalle Academy, and a current board member of Lincoln Hall. John was a proud veteran of the Army's "Fighting 69th". John is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Kathy, his daughter Erin and her husband Brian Appleton, his son Sean, his beloved grandson Reed, and his brother Roger's family: Gail, Carolyn, Andrew, Maggie, Nora and Kevin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 9th at 10 AM at Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY. Family will receive visitors at Graham Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, December 8th.
