MacQUEEN _ John Allan, "Jack" to his friends, born April 10th, 1932 in Wood Islands, PEI passed away at home in Kamloops on March 22nd, 2003. Jack is survived by his wife Pat; and daughters Heather (Jim Bryan) of Kamloops BC, and Cathy (Terry Hyska) of Port Moody BC; grandchildren Travis & Vanessa Bryan and Megan & Brett Hyska; brother Alex (Mary); and many nieces and nephews across Canada. Also leaves behind his special canine friends Barney and Jake. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret and siblings Donald, Mary, Katherine and Barclay. Jack was very proud to have been born a 6th Generation Canadian in the original area that his ancestors had settled in when they first arrived from the Isle of Skye. Jack arrived in BC in 1956 and had an immediate love for the rugged beauty of the West Coast. After raising his family between Vancouver and Ladner, Jack and Pat moved to Kamloops in 1993. A memorial tea will be held at Jack and Pat's home, 1049 Laurel Place, Kamloops, BC on Saturday, March 29, 2002 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society - Kamloops Unit at 685 Victoria St., Kamloops B.C.
