BOROWSKY John M. Borowsky, age 41 of Stratford, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2003 at Bridgeport Hospital s Burn Unit. Johnny B, as he was known by his friends and family, was born in Bridgeport to John and Joan Oleynik Borowsky of Stratford and had been a lifelong area resident he graduated from of Stratford High School and had attended Albertus Magnus/Paier College of Art. Johnny B was a gentle soul with an inexhaustible capacity to do for others. He loved art and was a skillful painter, and a wonderful artist both for pleasure and as an occupation. He was an excellent athlete, and a very competitive tennis player and ran from 5 to 10 miles a day. Survivors in addition to his parents are three brothers, Jeffrey Borowsky and his wife, Karen, James Borowsky and his wife, Vickie and Jason Borowsky; a sister, Jill Rankin and her husband, Randy, all of Port Allegheny, Pa.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 487 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to the Johnny B. Memorial Fund, 498 Sherwood Place Apt. C-6, Stratford, CT 06615. The ADZIMA FUNERAL HOME, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
