John Llewellyn Williams, 68, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center.Mr. Williams was born Nov. 2, 1943, at Fort Knox. He was a resident of Vero Beach since July 2011, coming from Peachtree City, Ga. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Eastern Airlines for 25 years.Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Williams; one son, John (Debra) Williams of Stuttgart, Germany; one daughter, LeAnne (Darren) Singleton of Vero Beach; one brother, David Williams of Lexington; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Blake, Caroline, Kayce and Anna.Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's and Parkinson Association of Indian River County at 2300 5th Ave., Suite 150, Vero Beach FL 32960.A memorial service was held April 28 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.Arrangements were handled by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
