John Allen Lee, 56, of Piedmont, S.C., died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005. A native of Great Falls, Mont., he was the son of the late S. Jackson Lee and Dorothy K. Lee. He was retired after 23 years employment with Southern Bell, and subsequently became the President and owner of VMAC, Inc. In addition, he served 28 years with the South Carolina National Guard.He is survived by his beloved daughters, Lindy A. Lee of Mountainview, Calif., and Evan L. Hammett and her husband, Bob, of Spartanburg; a son, Matthew Ryan Lee and his wife, Laura, of Greenville; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Hall Hammett of Spartanburg and Andrew Ryan Lee of Greenville. He is also survived by his former wife and best friend, Linda Lee of Spartanburg.A memorial service for Mr. Lee will be held Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at Lanford-Dunbar Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. David Bertling officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 a.m.The family is at the home of his daughter, Evan Hammett, at 105 Fernbrook Circle, Spartanburg.In lieu of flowers, memorials in remembrance of Mr. Lee may be made to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, P.O.
