CHESTER -- John-James "JJ" Robert Venner, 7, son of Jeffrey A. and Kristen (Smith), died Aug. 22, 2009, after a pedestrian accident. IN HIS LIFE: JJ was born on April 10, 2002. JJ was a little boy that loved life and was a little spitfire. He played soccer and T-ball, loved to ride his bike and skateboard, and loved to play outside. He was a great swimmer and loved the water. He also joined the gymnastics team this past summer at Action Kids Athletics in Brentwood. JJ was adopted at 2 and we love him very much. He will be greatly missed by Mom, Dad, Meme; his two brothers John and Jason; his two sisters Nickie and Terri; and many aunts, uncles, three nieces, cousins and many many friends. SERVICES: Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fellowship Bible Church, 48 Rod and Gun Club Road, Chester 03036. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church.
