ATLANTA, GA-- John Jack Howard Hall, 83, of Atlanta, GA, died on Monday, September 25, 2006, at Ashton Hall Rehab Center in Atlanta. Born on April 19, 1923, in Asheville, NC, he was the son of the late Frederick Nelson Hall, Sr. and Pauline Fore Hall. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and The Citadel, he was retired from Hall and Company, Hall Hardware in Spartanburg, SC, and West Hardware Company in Atlanta, GA. A member of Spartan Masonic Lodge #70, he was a 33rd degree Mason and currently the oldest living 33rd degree Mason in South Carolina. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.Survivors include his sister, Barbara Jean Hall Hanning and her husband Lee Hanning of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, F. Nelson Hall, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; and his nieces and nephews, John F. and Nancye Glenn of Dacula, GA, Thomas N. and Ona Glenn of Anderson, SC, Jean Elizabeth Glenn and Thomas F. Glenn of Anderson, SC, Dr. Thomas N. Hall of Granger, IN, and Hannah and Lauren Hall of Granger, IN.Graveside services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P. O.
