Alto - John Allen Garner, 46, died Friday, April 16, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his mother, Isabella Eller Garner, Cornelia; his wife, Margo Pilgrim Garner; three daughters, Tammy Marie Smith, Jennifer Denise Stephens, both of Cleveland, and Kristie Renee Garner, Alto; three sons, Alex Bradley Garner, Clayton, Michael Pilgrim and Christopher Scott Garner, both of Alto; two sisters, Ruby Nell Tench, Hollywood, and Linda McAvoy, Washington; two brothers, Ernest Garner, Cornelia, and Roy Garner, Arizona; and three grandchildren.
