NOBLE John F. "Tuck" Noble, III, age 60 of Portland and previously of Duxbury, Mass., passed away March 16, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving children. He was born October 6, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of John F. "Nip" Noble, II and Barbara (Beem) "Beemer" Noble. He attended Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, Pa. and Erskine College in Due West, S.C. Following school, Tuck founded JFN Financial Services and had a very successful career until his retirement in 2010. Tuck enjoyed his walks along the Eastern Prom with his chocolate lab, Millie. His most enjoyable days were spent on his boat "Prom Queen" fishing and exploring the islands of Casco Bay. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Diane; son, John F. (Kip) Noble, IV and his father, John F. (Nip) Noble, II. Surviving are his mother, Barbara Noble of Venice, Fla.; son, Robert Noble of Boston, Mass.; his daughter, Kelly Noble of Portland, Maine; his brother, Tallison and wife Kellie and their children Tally and Taylor. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 1 p.m. at the St. Bartholomew Parish, 1180 Greendale Avenue, Needham, MA. Arrangements by Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ctcrawford.com.
