ELLIOTT, John Kennedy Jr.March 4, 1925 - October 15, 2012John Kennedy Elliott Jr., beloved husband of Eileen Elliott of Calgary, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the age of 87 years. John was born on March 4, 1925 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, during his life he spent time in Kamloops, B.C. and Calgary, AB. John was a WW II veteran and worked for many years at Canadian Airlines. Besides his loving wife Eileen, John is survived by his children Carol and Steven, and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada. He was predeceased by his father, John Kennedy Elliott Sr., mother, Daisy Elliott and sisters Geraldine Stephenson and Marjorie Essex. One of John's greatest hobbies and pleasures was being a ham radio operator, where he communicated with people in many countries. Some of his other hobbies included scuba diving, biking, photography and hiking. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of John Elliott, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
