MILLER, John Douglas. July 25, 1942 - December 8, 2006. After a courageous battle with cancer, John passed away at the Toronto General Hospital on Friday, December 8, 2006 at the young age of sixty-four years old. Devoted husband to Lorraine, loving father of Todd and his wife Lynn; Lori and her husband Jeff. He was the youngest and dear brother of Robert (Bob) and his wife Julie, William (Billy) and wife Jackie and sister Dawn. He was a proud Grandfather (Poppie) and will be sadly missed by his Granddaughters Ashley, Abby and Skye. He will be deeply missed by many and loved more than he will ever know. Family and friends will be received at the Trull "North Toronto" Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence, 416-488-1101) on Monday December 11 between the hours of 6 and 10 p.m. A private family funeral service will occur Tuesday morning after which John will be buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
