John William Davis, 64, of 1371 Pine Log Ford Road, died Dec. 5, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.A native of Greer, son of the late Charles David and Amelia Tate Davis, he was a retired employee of Renfrew Bleachery and attended Edgewood Baptist Church.Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly A. Hice and husband Danny of Simpsonville; one brother, James L. Davis of Taylors; two sisters, Ophelia Ross and Linda Lynn, both of Taylors; one grandson, Bradley J. Davis of Simpsonville.Mr. Davis was predeceased by one brother, Charles David Davis Jr., and three sisters, Gloria Ross, Evelyn Brown and Betty Suggs.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary conducted by the Rev. Walter Wood. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home.The Wood Mortuary
