John D. ( Johnny ) Miller, age 66, of Bonifay, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. He was a veteran of the Florida National Guard. He was an avid history reader of the Civil War, a member of the Bonifay Hunting and Fishing Club,a coin collector and An Avid Florida Gator Fan.He was instrumental in helping others through his mentoring in the AA groups in the Bonifay area. He was employed in the medical field in the Panama City area for most of his working life. He was the son of the late John Henry Miller.He is survived by his mother Margaret (Bevis) Libolt.Two Sons,Wightman Miller of Stedman, N.C.Grayson Miller of Bonifay, Fla.Two Brothers,Jimmy Miller of Crawfordville, Fla.Jerry Miller of Tallahassee, Fla.Three grandchildrenJustin, Aaron, and Lindsey Miller. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Bonifay Serenity Group, C/O Doy H. Marshall, Sr., Sec., 2026 Caney Branch Road, Bonifay Florida 32425.
