ELLIOTT, John Clyde - The family of John Clyde Elliott (Clyde) are heartbroken to announce his death on March 11, 2010 surrounded by his loving family after a short battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife and sunshine Dorothy, his devoted daughters Kim Scales (John) and Grace Jutras (Ron, predeceased). His grandchildren Bryan (Tara), Stephanie, Hilary, Erica and his great-granddaughter Kayla. His brothers Bill (Madeline), Owen (Pauline), Mel (Pat) and his sisters Phyllis (Les, predeceased), Gwen (predeceased) (Burns and Daisy) and Lorna (Harold). Clyde was the step-father to Susan (Glenn), Steve (Sue) and Bill (Teri). Step- grandfather to Stacey (Mardy), Ryan (Sylvia), Terry, Pat, Nick and Mitch. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and special friends. We are grateful for the compassionate care Clyde received from the staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. Cremation has taken place and a celebration for Clyde's life will take place at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on March 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
