BOLT, John Rollins, 64, of Bradenton, Fla., died November 11, 2006. He was born July 9, 1942 in Birmingham, Ala. and came to the Bradenton area one year ago from Tampa. He retired in management from GTE after 25 years and was also an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa and currently was an educator at the Falkenberg Academy in Tampa. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Haworth Bolt; a daughter, Tiffany Ann Bolt of Tampa; a son, John Glen Bolt of Tampa; three sisters, Betty Chevalier of Birmingham, Clara Ann Stephens of Kingsport, Tenn. and Glenday McNally of Madison, Ala. Visitation was Monday in Bradenton. A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Tuesday November 14, 2006, at Toale Brothers Bradenton Chapel, 912 53rd Ave. West, Bradenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mote Marine Laboratory, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34236 or the charity of the donor's choice.
