Mr. John B. Thomas III - Spartanburg, SC -Mr. John B. Thomas III, 68, of 216 W. Myles Lane died Saturday, August 5, 2006, following a long illness. He was born in Johnson City, TN, to the late John B. and Laura Hoskins Thomas, Jr. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. John B. Thomas, III of the home; two daughters: Jennifer Thomas Whelan of Louisville, KY, and Amanda Thomas Kenny of Smithfield, Maine; three sons: John B. Thomas IV, Charles Delaney Thomas, and William Philip Thomas all of Spartanburg, S.C.; and eleven grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. tonight at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Blanton officiating.
