John B. Hurley of Bloomfield, N.J., formerly of Jersey City, N.J., and West Orange, N.J., passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Mountainside Hospital at the age of 52. Visitation is at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City, N.J., on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Family and friends may assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aedan's Church at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Holy Name Mausoleum. John was a self-employed stock trader. He was the loving son of Patricia (nee Morgan) and John B. Hurley. John was the dear brother of Morgan Hurley and his wife, Mary, and Madonna Galvan and her husband, Sal, and devoted uncle of Salvador Galvan and Sean Hurley.
