-> John Augustine Elliott, 62, of Savannah, died Friday, January 28, 2005 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA, where he was born December 28, 1942. His parents were Dr. John Lawson Elliott and Nancy Gurr Elliott. He attended public schools in Savannah and traveled extensively with his parents. He worked in the supply room at Candler Hospital until his retirement in December, 2004. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Elliott Cain. He is survived by two sisters, Jo Elliott Jones of Albany, and Nancy Elliott Himes of Savannah; seven nieces, Becky Watson and Ron, Nancy Jones Presley and Van, Martha Himes Kirksey and Al, Connie Cain Bien and Leigh, Susan Jones Willson and Bill, Lydia Cavanaugh and John, and Jody Jones Booth; five nephews, Randy Cain and Loyrett, Chuck Jones and Amy, Bill Himes and Julie, Elliott Jones and Melissa, and Edward Himes, and eighteen grand nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Hubert C. Baker F uneral Home. Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, with interment in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
